Produced from vineyards located in the areas of Colonnella, Notaresco and Roseto on the Adriatic coast of the Abruzzo region. Facing east and south east, vines are planted on both limestone and clay-based, medium-textured soils. Matured in barriques for 12 months before blending. The final blend is then aged in 3,000 litre barrels for a further six months

Tasting: Red ruby with garnet highlights. In- tense and persistent, a spicy aroma with hints of choco- late and tar but never to dominate over its copious fruit. Good structure, good tannins and well-balanced
